Privacy Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026. This page explains what information PayGrade Chart handles when you use the site.

What you enter in the calculator

The pay chart lookup and the military pay calculator run in your web browser. We do not ask for your name, email address or account details, and we do not store the rank, years of service, ZIP code or dependent status you enter.

To look up housing allowance (BAH), your browser downloads a data file for the first two digits of the ZIP code you type, for example the file for ZIP codes starting with 28. The rest of your ZIP code and your other inputs are not sent.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses and the files your browser requests in order to deliver and protect the site. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they use and how they found the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, an approximate location and how you arrived at the site. We do not send your calculator inputs to Google Analytics, and we do not use it to identify you personally.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are turned off by default, because this site does not show a consent banner. In those regions Google Analytics may still receive basic page requests without cookies.

To learn how Google uses this information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Advertising

This site does not show ads at the moment. If we add advertising, we will update this page before ads appear.

Do Not Track

This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. To stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits, use the opt-out add-on or block cookies as described above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
